Privacy Policy — Remote Mouse Suite

1. Overview

Remote Mouse Suite ("the app", "we") turns your phone into a wireless trackpad, keyboard, and TV remote for devices on your own network. This policy explains what data the app and its third-party services collect, why, and your choices.

We designed the app to keep your control traffic local: commands you send to your computer or TV go directly to that device on your network and are not routed through or stored on our servers. We do not operate user accounts and do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location.

2. Information collected

a) Data you provide directly

• None required. The app has no sign-up or login. You do not create an account or give us personal details to use it.

b) Data collected automatically by third-party services

This version uses Google Firebase for diagnostics and reliability, and Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier and related ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads.

We receive analytics and crash data in aggregated/diagnostic form. Firebase is configured by the app at build time; if a build ships without Firebase configured, none of the above is collected.

c) Data kept only on your device

• Pairing credentials / connection settings (the token used to authenticate with your own computer) are stored in your device's secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and never leave your device or get sent to us.

3. How we use information

• Operate core features (connect to and control your computer/TV).
• Diagnose crashes and improve reliability and features.

We do not sell your personal information. This version shows ads served by Google AdMob; where required by law we ask for your consent before requesting them.

4. Advertising and in-app purchases

This version is ad-supported via Google AdMob and has no in-app purchases. AdMob uses your advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. Where required by law (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR), a Google-certified consent (UMP) prompt is shown before any ad is requested, and ads are requested only if your consent allows.

You can limit ad personalization at the OS level (Android: Settings → Privacy/Google → Ads) by resetting or deleting your advertising ID. A future version may add a one-time "Remove ads" purchase; see Appendix A for the disclosures that would apply then.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by your local law. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will address it.

6. Third-party services

These providers process data as described above under their own privacy policies:

(In-app billing providers are listed in Appendix A and are not used by this version.)

7. Data sharing and transfer

We do not share your personal data with third parties except the service providers above, who process it to provide their functions to us, and except where required by law. Data handled by Google may be processed on servers outside your country under Google's safeguards.

8. Data retention and deletion

• On-device data (pairing credentials, settings) is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
• Analytics and crash data held by Google are retained per Google's retention settings.
• To request deletion of data associated with you, contact us at the email above and we will act on it consistent with the providers' tooling and applicable law.

9. Security

Data sent to Google's services is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Local control traffic to your own computer/TV stays on your network; for that reason we recommend using the app on your own trusted Wi-Fi network rather than open/public networks. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. To exercise these, contact us at the email above.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or on this page.

Appendix A — In-app purchases (NOT active in this version)

The version described above is ad-supported and offers no in-app purchases. This appendix is retained so the disclosure is ready if a future version adds a one-time "Remove ads" purchase. Nothing in this appendix applies to the current version.

If a "Remove ads" purchase is introduced, the following would apply and this policy's main body would be updated to match:

• A one-time Remove ads purchase would disable ads; the entitlement would be cached locally and validated against Google Play.
